Woman Charged With DUI In Wilton After Hitting Mailbox, Police Say A Fairfield County woman has been accused of driving drunk after she allegedly backed into a mailbox and failed field sobriety tests. Kiana Diaz, age 26, of Newtown, was busted in Wilton on Range Road at 12:08 a.m. on Monday, April 1. According to Lt. Anna Tornello, of the Wilton Police, police on the scene found that Diaz had backed a 2024 blue Kia Seltos in a mailbox.  During an investigation, it was determined that Diaz was exhibiting several signs of alcohol impairment and was asked to perform field sobriety tests which she failed, Tornello said. Man Found Passed Out Inside Car At Wilton Home Charged With DUI, Police Say A 21-year-old man was arrested for DUI after allegedly being found drunk and passed out in his vehicle in someone else's driveway. Michael Cella, of Norwalk, was arrested Jan. 1, after the Wilton Police Department received a complaint that Cella was passed out in a running vehicle in their driveway on Range Road, said the Wilton Police. When police arrived on the scene, they found Cella partially seated in the vehicle, engine running, keys in the ignition and detected a strong odor of alcohol when opening the vehicle doors, police said.
