On Tuesday, Aug. 10, Bridgeport Mayor Joe Ganim signed an executive order which requires all individuals in the city to wear facial masks while indoors at any public place or in any business. CT Hit-Run Victim Saved By Good Samaritan, Police Say A Connecticut pedestrian who was struck by a hit-and-run driver remains in critical condition after being aided by a Good Samaritan. The incident happened just before 9 p.m. on Tuesday, March 23, when New Haven Police and Fire responded to a report of a pedestrian struck on Sherman Avenue between Elm Street and Whalley Avenue, in New Haven.
