A man faces charges after allegedly giving a tow truck driver the keys to a vehicle that he had stolen during an armed carjacking in Connecticut, police said. The arrest stemmed from an incident that began in New Haven County on Saturday, May 27 at 7:40 a.m., when Milford Police received a report from a tow truck driver regarding a suspicious man. Trailers Full Of 4,000 Pounds Of Bleach, Vegetables Catch Fire In CT
Four tractor-trailers packed full of bleach and vegetables were damaged by fire and one firefighter was taken to the hospital at an area truck stop. The fire began around 1:55 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 17, at the Pilot Travel Center on Old Gate Lane in Milford, said the Milford Fire Department. Police: Drunken Driver Fell Asleep In Wendy's Drive-Thru In Milford
MILFORD, Conn. — A 26-year-old man was arrested on drunken driving charges after he fell asleep in the drive-thru at Wendy's overnight, Milford police said. Milford police were called to the Pilot Travel Center on Old Gate Lane at 2:53 a.m. Sunday about the driver. An investigation led to the arrest of Angel Irizarry of West Haven on a charge of driving under the influence, police said. Irizarry provided a breath sample, which showed he had an elevated blood alcohol level, police said. He was released on $500 bond for a court appearance on Feb. 8.
