New England Native Matthew Perry Dies: Star of 'Friends,' Films New England's own Matthew Perry, best known as the sarcastic, spastic, and overly-dramatic Chandler Bing on "Friends," died unexpectedly at his Los Angeles home on Saturday, Oct. 28, multiple outlets reported.
