ID Released For Stratford Woman Struck, Killed By Car
Police have released the identity of a 61-year-old woman killed while crossing a Stamford street.
Nancy Flores, of Stratford, was killed at 9:16 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 16, while crossing at the intersection of Washington Boulevard in Stamford, said Stamford Police Sgt. Jeffrey Booth.
According to investigators with the department's Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Squad, the incident took place when a 2009 Volkswagen Jetta, driven by Courtney Sabia, 23, of Stamford, was traveling eastbound on Tresser Boulevard.

Woman Struck, Killed By SUV On Candlewood Lake Road
A woman was struck and killed in Brookfield while walking or jogging in Brookfield, police said.
At approximately 10:10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 4, Brookfield police were notified via multiple 911 calls of a motor vehicle crash with injuries on Candlewood Lake Road, north of the intersection with Main Drive.
When police and other emergency responders arrived at the scene, they found that a pedestrian, Linda Warner, 76, of Brookfield, had been struck by a motor vehicle along Candlewood Lake Road in the area of No. 279, according to police.

Man Struck by Car In Trumbull
A Trumbull man was seriously injured when he was struck by a car on White Plains Road near the Route 25 overpass.
The resident, a seventy-three-year-old man, was struck while attempting to cross White Plains Road in a marked crosswalk at about 8:53 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 24, said Trumbull Police Lt. Brian Weir.
As officers arrived on the scene, they located the man lying near the curb receiving medical attention from others who had stopped at the scene, Weir said.

An 88-year-old Shelton woman lost her driver's license after allegedly hitting two people in an Ansonia parking lot, causing one to lose a leg and seriously injuring the other.

Hit-Run Victim Given Warning For Unsafely Crossing Roadway In Bridgeport, Police Say
A teen who was struck by a hit-and-driver was given a verbal warning for unsafe use of a highway in Bridgeport, police said.
The incident took place around 6:45 p.m., Wednesday, July 24, when officers were dispatched to the area of North Avenue and Park Avenue on a report of a pedestrian struck, said Terron Jones, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police.
When police arrived on the scene they were told the victim, a juvenile, had been transported by AMR to Bridgeport Hospital for minor injuries and that the vehicle had fled the area, Jones said.
