Woman Seriously Injured After Being Struck By Vehicle Crossing Busy Greenwich Intersection A pedestrian suffered serious injuries when she was struck by a vehicle while crossing a street in Old Greenwich. It happened at about 9:50 a.m. Friday, Nov. 29, according to Lt. John Slusarz of the Greenwich Police Department. A vehicle that had been traveling southbound on Sound Beach Avenue made a left turn into the driveway for the Arcadia Parking Lot when it struck a pedestrian, Slusarz said.  The pedestrian was treated at the scene by first responders and taken to the hospital. An investigation is being conducted by the Greenwich Police Department’s Traffic Section. …
