Clifton Eugene (Skip) Weed, a lifelong Stamford resident, died Monday, June 17 at age 80. Weed was the husband of Mary Ann Weed. He was the eldest son of Lester A. and Mary Ann Weed. He was a 12th generation descendant of Jonas Weed, an original settler of Stamford. Report Of Shots Fired At Norwalk Community College 'False Alarm' A call to police reporting shots fired at Norwalk Community College sent local and state police to the school to investigate the incident. The call came in around 1:33 p.m., Tuesday, April 16, reporting they had heard shots fired on the campus, said Norwalk Police.
