Officer Seriously Injured During Drug Bust, Stamford Police Say
A Stamford narcotics agent was seriously injured while attempting to arrest an area man for possession of cocaine, police said. The incident began around 11 p.m. Friday, March 15, when members of the Stamford Narcotic and Organized Crime Squad attempted to arrest Malcolm Chalmers, 26, of Stamford, on Bedford Street for allegedly selling cocaine to the local bar crowd, said Stamford Police Capt.
