CT Mom Accused Of Leaving 2-Year-Old Home Alone A Connecticut mom has been arrested after allegedly leaving her 2-year-old home alone to go shopping. The child was found crying in New Haven County in Wolcott around 9:30 p.m., Thursday, May 19, according to police. Police officers responded to a home on Long Meadow Drive where a neighbor found a very young child wandering in the front yard all by himself, wet and crying, said the Wolcott Police.
