On Friday, Sept. 1, the Connecticut State Police announced the arrest of 38-year-old Robert Doyle for the Tolland County robbery that occurred nearly a month before. According to police, on Friday, Aug. 4 at approximately 11:30 a.m., Doyle robbed the Key Bank located at 6 Storrs Road in Mansfield. The incident took place in Fairfield at the Key Bank on Post Road around noon on Wednesday, Aug. 25.  The suspect was described as a white male who reportedly pointed what looked like a handgun at tellers demanding money, said Capt. The department had put out several photos of the suspect, later identified as 37-year-old Michael Mangiafico of Seymour after he allegedly robbed the Key Bank in Shelton on Monday.  Shelton Police and detectives, with help from the Seymour Police Department, arrested Mangiafico on Wednesday and charged him with robbery and larceny, said Lt. Shelton Police Looking To Identify Bank Robbery Suspect Shelton Police are asking the public for help in identifying a man who robbed a Key Bank on Monday. The robbery took place around 10 a.m. Monday at the bank located at 794 Bridgeport Ave., Shelton Police Det. Christopher Nugent. According to Nugent, the man walked into the bank and passed a teller a note demanding money and implying he had a weapon, he said. No one was injured during the incident. Detectives from the department are investigating a robbery that took place at Key Bank on Post Road at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Police said that the suspect entered the bank branch and passed the clerk a note that indicated he was committing the robbery.
