Man Faces Charges After Fairfield, Bridgeport Police Chase A 40-year-old area man was nabbed by Fairfield Police following a pursuit that started with a routine traffic stop. The incident took place Friday evening when Officer Kevin Wells was conducting motor vehicle enforcement on Commerce Drive and stopped a vehicle after a warrant check revealed an active warrant for the registered owner's arrest, said Fairfield Lt.
