Bridgeport Woman Hit, Dragged 200 Feet By Hit-Run Driver, Police Say A Fairfield County woman was killed after she was hit and dragged by a car for nearly 200 feet before the vehicle fled the scene. Kemesha Robert Johnson, age 40, died around 3 a.m. Sunday, March 13, in Bridgeport near the intersection of Boston Avenue and Remington Street, authorities said. A witness on the scene told officers a woman driving a 2007 Black Volvo XC90 was stopped at a red light on Barnum Avenue when it was rear-ended by a silver or gray Honda Civic, said Scott Appleby, Bridgeport's director of emergency management.
