Man Nabbed At Canadian Border For After Woman Found Dead In Bridgeport A man wanted in connection with the alleged killing of a Fairfield County woman was nabbed at the Canadian border and is expected to be charged with her death in the coming days. 40-Year-Old Woman Found Dead Inside Bridgeport Home A 40-year-old woman was found dead inside her home after police were called to perform a welfare check in Fairfield County. Jennifer Brelsford, of Bridgeport, was found dead inside a home at 176 Goodard Ave., around 8 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 18, by Bridgeport officers responding to the scene, said Bridgeport Police Capt. Brain Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald said Brelsford was found with "obvious signs of trauma," to her body inside the home.
