Bridgeport Teen Charged In Crash That Killed Two Women A second teen has been charged in connection with the deaths of two women in a crash in Fairfield County in April.The two killed -- 18-year-old Shalymar Herrera of West Haven and 23-year-old Briana Torres-Carter of Bridgeport, who was pregnant --were passengers in a Mini Cooper that was being driven by Herrera's husband, Lawrence Carter, 19, of Bridgeport. Carter and another passenger Jessie Abrams, 19, of Bridgeport, were seriously injured in the crash. Bridgeport Man Charged With Illegal Racing, Negligent Homicide A 29-year-old man involved in a road race that ended with the death of his passenger has been charged with negligent homicide.  Ronald Patterson, of Bridgeport, was arrested Tuesday in connection with the April 6 crash that left his passenger, Dawaan Edwards, dead, said Stratford Police Capt.
