UConn Student, Fan Celebration: 16 Hospitalized, 15 Charged After NCAA Title Win As students and fans celebrated the huge win by the  University of Connecticut in the NCAA men's basketball championship, several ended up in handcuffs and 16 others were injured. The incidents took place in Tolland County on the UConn campus in Storrs as thousands celebrated the win over San Diego State University that was wrapped up late Monday evening, April 3. Impaired CT Woman Caught Driving Wrong Way In Construction Zone, Police Say A Connecticut woman was busted allegedly driving drunk or high on drugs in the wrong direction in a construction zone on Route 9. The incident took place in Farmington around 12:40 a.m., on Wednesday, Aug. 31. According to state police, Mindy Lee Rivera, age 37, of New Britain was arrested after troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash on Route 9 South where I-84 East and West merge.  Upon arrival, troopers found two vehicles in the left lane adjacent to the construction pattern just north of the Route 9 turnaround and Rivera standing in between the left and right lanes on Route 9 So…
