Area HS Teacher Advances To Finals Of 'Jeopardy!' Tourney Of Champions A high school teacher in Northern Westchester who lives in Ulster County has now advanced to the finals of the "Jeopardy!" Tournament of Champions. In May, Francois Barcomb, of New Paltz, an 11th-grade physics teacher at Hendrick Hudson High School in Montrose, earlier took home the $100,000 "Jeopardy!" HS Teacher/Coach Accidentally Shoots, Kills Wife While Cleaning Gun In NY A high school science teacher and coach accidentally shot and killed his 34-year-old wife while allegedly cleaning his gun in upstate New York, state police said. Ashley Rosenbrock was pronounced dead at Saratoga Hospital late Thursday night. Eric Rosenbrock, her husband, was "performing maintenance" on his legally owned handgun when it went off," at around 10:30 p.m., state police said.
