Woman, 23, Assaults New Canaan Business Owner During Dispute, Police Say Police intervention was required at a business in New Canaan after a 23-year-old woman got into a fight with the owner after hours. Officers from the New Canaan Police Department were dispatched to a business on Cross Street shortly after 10 p.m. on Wednesday, May 2, where there was a reported dispute involving the business’ owner and San Diego resident Hannah Nicole Michaelis.
