Man Caught With Machete At Danbury Elementary School, Police Say
A Fairfield County man was charged with carrying a dangerous weapon after he allegedly jumped a fence at an elementary school carrying a machete. The incident occurred in Danbury on Thursday, Aug. 17, at the Ellsworth Avenue School, at 53 Ellsworth Ave. According to Erin Henry with the Danbury Police, officers responded to the school for a report of a person trespassing on school property with a machete.
