Driver Who Left Scene Of New Canaan Crash Found At Home, Police Say A New Canaan man was busted at home after allegedly being involved in a hit-and-run crash while “driving erratically,” police said. Officers from the New Canaan Police Department were dispatched near the intersection of East Avenue and New Norwalk Road at approximately 10:20 p.m. on Friday, July 13, where there was a report of a vehicle being operated erratically that has struck another and took off.
