Drunk Wilton Man Drove Nearly Twice Speed Limit, Police Say A Wilton man was arrested for driving under the influence after he was stopped for allegedly driving at nearly twice the speed limit. Damian Pielesz, 32, was arrested on Sunday, July 21, around 9:08 p.m., after being stopped by Wilton Police for traveling 78 mph in a 40 mph zone in the area of Danbury Road, said the Wilton Police Department. When officers approached Pielesz's black 2016 Nissan Altima there was allegedly a heavy odor of alcoholic beverage from his breath, police said.
