Covid-19: Positivity Rate In CT Highest In Months, Lamont Says; Breakdown Of Cases By County
The positive COVID-19 infection rate in Connecticut has ballooned to nearly 6 percent, the highest rate in months as the winter wave of new cases continues.
In his latest update, Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont said that the daily positive COVID-19 infection rate rose to 5.96 percent, the highest in 10 months, up from the 5.25 percent the previous day.
In total, there were 15,224 COVID-19 tests administered on Monday, Nov. 29, resulting in 907 laboratory-confirmed cases of the virus for the elevated positive infection rate.

Covid-19: Here's Latest CT Positive-Test Rate, New Rundown Of Cases By Communities, Counties
The latest positive rate of those being tested for COVID-19 covering the last four days in Connecticut is 6.05 percent.
The new data released late Monday afternoon, Dec. 28 covers Thursday, Dec. 24 through Sunday, Dec. 27.
A total of 139,889 tests were administered during that time, with 8,457 coming back positive (6.05 percent).
A total of 1,219 patients are currently hospitalized statewide, an increase of 19.
There were 113 COVID additional deaths over the weekend.

The latest positive rate of those being tested for COVID-19 in Connecticut is 6.61 percent.
The new data released late Monday afternoon, Dec. 7 covers Friday, Dec. 4 through Sunday, Dec. 6.
A total of 23,021 tests were administered during that time, with 8,129 coming back positive (6.61 percentage).
A total of 1,183 patients are currently hospitalized statewide, an increase of 33.
There were 78 COVID additional deaths over the weekend.

Covid-19: Here's Latest Positivity Rate For CT
Connecticut continues to see an uptick in COVID-19 cases as the positivity rate continues to rise.
For the second time this week, the COVID-19 positivity rate of those tested in Connecticut rose to 2.4 percent, the first time the state has seen a rate that high since the summer.
There were 33,048 COVID-19 tests administered, Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont said, resulting in 802 positive tests. There are now 184 patients hospitalized with the virus, down seven, and there were two new COVID-19-related fatalities.
