Laptop, iPad, Jewelry Stolen After Window Of Vehicle Is Smashed In Fairfield County
Electronics, cash, and jewelry were stolen from a car parked in a Fairfield County elementary school parking lot after a suspect broke a window to steal the goods, police said.
Officers from the Darien Police Department responded to Holmes Elementary School on Monday, Nov. 29, where there was a report of a burglary that had taken place in the afternoon.
According to police, a woman said that her front right passenger window was smashed out and two bags were stolen from inside the vehicle.

IDs Released After Two Stamford Men Injured, One Critically, In BMW Crash
Two Fairfield County men involved in a serious crash in a BMW have been identified by police.
The crash, which took place at 4:20 p.m., Saturday, June 20, in the area of Cove Road in Stamford, critically injured one man, said Sgt. Jeffrey Booth, the supervisor of the department's Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Squad.
According to Booth, the crash took place when a 2007 BMW driven by Saba Suguladze a 20-year-old Stamford resident, was traveling eastbound on Cove Road in the area of Van Buskirk Avenue.

IDs Released For Victim, Suspect In Fatal Stabbing In Stamford
Police have released the identities of both the man stabbed to death in Stamford and the man being questioned in the case.
Enrique Gutama, 53, of Stamford, was identified as the man found lying on a sidewalk around 10 p.m., Wednesday, May 22, at the intersection of Cove and Frederick streets, said Stamford Police Capt. Richard Conklin.
The suspect in the case, Alonzo Perez-Mateo, 30, also of Stamford, is being held on two prior warrants, including one in which he ran over a man with his vehicle, said Conklin.
"Both cases he is being held on are violent assaults," Conklin said.
