Increase In Thefts From Unlocked Vehicles Reported In Norwalk Norwalk Police report that they have been experiencing an uptick in unlocked vehicle being entered during the overnight hours throughout the city.  The police department issued a reminder that residents lock their vehicles, remove all valuables as well as the keys/fobs.

Lock Your Vehicles, State Police Warn Connecticut Residents Connecticut State Police officials are encouraging the community to lock their cars at night as detectives continue their investigation into a suspicious man who was caught on surveillance cameras peering into a car looking for property to steal. Police are investigating an attempted break-in that occurred at around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 10 in Durham outside a local home, where a man in a hooded sweatshirt was caught attempting to get into the locked vehicle. Police said that some suspects look for cars that are unlocked and easy to access, meaning there are no smashed windows, no force…
