6-Year-Old Bridgeport Boy Dies Suddenly A 6-year-old boy died suddenly. Christian David-Devon Johnson, of Bridgeport, died in his sleep while staying at his grandfather’s Hamden home, the boy’s family said. Johnson died at Yale-New Haven Hospital on Thursday, Jan. 16. The cause of death has not been determined by the Medical Examiner. Following the child’s death, his family set up a campaign, “Christian’s Credo,” in his memory. The campaign is designed to remind parents to hug their children every day and remind them that they are loved.
