Woman Dies After Being Hit By Car In Bridgeport A 74-year-old woman hit by a 2018 Acura IIX in Bridgeport has died from her injuries. The incident took place on Tuesday, Feb. 14 around 4:30 p.m. near the intersection of Fairfield Avenue and Broad Street. According to Sgt. Darryl Wilson of the Bridgeport Police, police received several calls of a pedestrian being struck by a car and wasn't moving. When officers and EMS arrived on the scene they found the woman who had sustained lower extremity trauma and a head injury. Bridgeport Woman Hit, Dragged 200 Feet By Hit-Run Driver, Police Say A Fairfield County woman was killed after she was hit and dragged by a car for nearly 200 feet before the vehicle fled the scene. Kemesha Robert Johnson, age 40, died around 3 a.m. Sunday, March 13, in Bridgeport near the intersection of Boston Avenue and Remington Street, authorities said.
