Student Kidnapping Attempt: Bridgeport Man Charged In 2 Cases, Police Say A man has been charged with attempting to lure two Fairfield County students to his car, and in one case, grabbed a student and attempted to drag her to his vehicle. The incident took place in Bridgeport around 11 a.m., Thursday, April 27 at Central High School. According to Captain Kevin Gilleran, of the Bridgeport Police, Officer Dani Soto was dispatched to Central High School to check on the welfare of an 18-year-old female student.  The student lost cell phone contact with a friend as she was leaving the school campus and walking toward North Avenue.
