Spring Ahead, But Stay Alert: State DOT Issues Daylight Saving Time Driving Advisory Clocks will “spring ahead” an hour this weekend during Daylight Saving Time, and the Department of Transportation is warning drivers to be cautious when adjusting to the time change. “Daylight Saving Time begins this weekend,” the DOT posted in a statement. “While you adjust to the time change, be especially careful of driving.
