Man Faces DUI Charge After BMW Swerves Toward Patrol Cruiser, Wilton PD Say A 33-year-old man has been charged with DUI after his BMW swerved toward a patrol cruiser, police say. Wilton Police say they observed the driver of a BMW sedan traveling southbound swerve partially into another lane on Sunday, Aug. 4 around 9:30 p.m. When initiating a traffic stop, police say the driver, identified as Christian Schoellauf of New Haven, swerved into the officer's lane again. During questioning, police say they detected an alcoholic odor coming from the vehicle.
