Bridgeport Resident Wins $250,000 In State Lottery
A Fairfield County resident has claimed a $250,000 Connecticut Lottery prize.
Bridgeport resident Chhumnith Houry won the "$250,000 Cashword 9" prize from a ticket purchased at Wood's Mart in Bridgeport, CT Lottery announced on Tuesday, Sept. 6.
The lottery said the store is located at 427 Wood Ave.

It was a good week for lottery players in Connecticut, including one who cashed in a winning $100,000 ticket.
Danbury resident Yogesh Saini is feeling lucky after winning the top prize playing “$100,000 Fortune” on a scratch-off ticket sold at the Shell gas station on Greenwood Avenue in Bethel.
The winning ticket was cashed in by Saini on Tuesday, Dec. 7, CT Lottery officials said.

On Tuesday, Nov. 23, New London County resident Hoai Tam Trinh, of Groton, cashed in a winning $50,000 "POWERBALL" ticket that was sold at the Veterans Convenience on Gold Star Highway in Groton.

A Connecticut woman has claimed a $10,000 lottery prize thanks to a lucky 41st wedding anniversary gift from her husband.
To celebrate their wedding anniversary, Michael Daniele, of Branford in New Haven County, took his wife, Bernadette, on a trip to Boston.
He also gave her a CT Lottery "$100,000 Cashword 11" scratch ticket, purchased at the No Branford Patco Handy Stop in North Branford.
