UConn Tuition Increasing 31 Percent During Next Four Years

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. – Tuition at the University of Connecticut will increase by 31 percent during the next four years, starting next fall, reports the Hartford Courant

The tuition increase schedule:

  • Fall of 2016: In-state students will pay $700 more, a 6.7 percent jump.
  • By Fall of 2019: Tuition will reach $13,700, compared with the 2015 price of $10,524.
  • Fall of 2016: Out-of-state students will pay $950 more, or $33,016 in tuition.
  • By Fall of 2019: Tuition will reach $36,466, 13.7 percent higher than 2015.

The increase includes the UConn campus in Stamford, as well as Storrs, according to the report.
