U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy and Mayor Joe Ganim will be on hand as Northeast Barbershop offers free haircuts to school kids Thursday.

Northeast Barbershop is offering free haircuts for elementary and middle schoolers from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday and U.S. Sen Chris Murphy and Bridgeport Mayor Joe Ganim will be on hand to greet the little shavers.

The barbershop is at 2279 East Main Street.
