Now, William Pitt Sotheby's International Realty, one of the most respected names in Southern Connecticut real estate, has named Brian A. Clarke, Jr. as the firm's regional manager, overseeing nearly 120 agents representing listings from Westport to Stratford.
Clarke, a Norwalk resident, previously served as the managing broker at William Pitt Sotheby’s Southport Brokerage. As he and his team expand their focus up the Connecticut coast, he's excited for the opportunity to serve a growing part of the state.
"Further east, you have people commuting into Manhattan, but you do have people commuting up to New Haven, Hartford or even Providence," he said. "The area is centrally located on the 95 corridor." Additionally, he credits home values, affordability and a high quality of life as major reasons for the growing markets in Stratford, Milford and the Connecticut River Valley.
In his new role as regional manager, Clarke will divide his time between William Pitt's Southport and Stratford offices. However, the change won't necessarily mean learning a new neighborhood. "I'm reconnecting with colleagues that I have known for years," he said. "I know areas like Stratford, Milford, Trumbull, The Valley and Monroe from my selling days, and now I'll be able to help agents there as well."
Greeting Clarke in Stratford is a brand that's as highly regarded as the award-winning Southport name. Having been with the brand for nearly 15 years, Clarke is looking to re-instill the importance of exceptional service and value, up and down the coast. "We believe everyone deserves that type of service," he said. "Its about service, not price point."
