Wednesday: LT. Governor Wyman Attends CT National Guard Groundbreaking, Hosts Women’S Economic Security Forum IN Bridgeport

(HARTFORD) – On Wednesday, Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman will make remarks at the groundbreaking for a $29 million dollar Connecticut Army National Guard Central Equipment Maintenance Facility.  This federally-funded facility will provide modern work space for National Guard vehicle and equipment repair.

In the evening, the Lt. Governor and Department of Banking Commissioner Howard Pitkin will host A Community Conversation on Women’s Economic Security. The forum will highlight resources available to help residents establish financial stability.  Topics include consumer protection, retail banking, mortgage assistance, and retirement planning.  This event is open to the public and includes financial experts from the Dept. of Banking, retail banking, and the Women’s Business Development Council.
