Rosario, 37, had headed the city’s anti-blight office under former Mayor Bill Finch’s administration, the media outlet reported.

Blaming Finch for budget deficits, new Mayor Joe Ganim has promised more layoffs as he reorganizes city government, the report said.

Ganim may have lost some political support, the ctpost reported; at least two City Council members have protested Rosario’s ouster.
