A jury on Friday found 39-year-old Mario Varela of Hartford and 40-year-old Orlando Pacheco of Waterbury guilty of felony murder, murder, home invasion, first-degree robbery and risk of injury to a minor, the Connecticut Post reported. They had deliberated for three days, and have been ordered to continue deliberating in the case of a third suspect, Fernando Santiago, according to the Connecticut Post.
Varela and Pacheco are accused of taking part in the murder of Jayson Rosado. Rosado was killed the night of Oct. 18, 2015 when police said masked men entered his home on Goldenrod Avenue home and stabbed him numerous times and ransacked the home. He later died at St. Vincent's Hospital, police said.

Pacheco was arrested in late December 2015 in connection with the case, Varela was arrested about a week later, and Santiago was arrested in February 2016. Varela and Pacheco face more than 100 years in prison following their convictions, according to the Connecticut Post.
