Teen, Two Men Struck By Gunfire At Bridgeport Apartment Complex

Police are investigating after a teen and two men were allegedly struck by gunfire overnight in Bridgeport.

Bridgeport Police say shots were fired at building 14 of PT Barnum Apartments on Anthony Street on Monday, July 1 around 2:35 a.m.

Witnesses say several people were inside the building when an unknown male opened the door and fired into the living room from outside, according to police.

Three male victims ages 17, 22 and 40 were shot, according to police. The 17- and 22-year-old victims were shot in the chest and transported to Bridgeport Hospital. The 40-year-old victim was shot in the leg and transported to St. Vincent’s Medical Center.

All three victims are expected to survive, police say.
