Police Identify Man Who Drowned In River In Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – The man who drowned in the Pequonnock River on Sunday afternoon has been identified Walter Ridot, a 34-year-old Bridgeport resident, according to the Connecticut Post.

Ridot fell into the river near the boardwalk area in small waterfront park along Knowlton Street in Bridgeport, the Post said.

An autopsy was being conducted, the Post reported.
