Police: Bridgeport Man Busted Trying To Shoplift $100 In Candy At Costco

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — A 40-year-old Bridgeport man who tried to walk out of Costco with more than $100 worth of candy from Costo without paying has been arrested, police said.

Police got a report of a man fighting with a loss prevention agent at the Costco at 1718 Boston Post Road, Milford. 

Dorsey Saunders, 40, of 292 Robin St., Bridgeport, also pushed a loss control agent when he tried to run from the store while concealing $104 in candy, Milford police said. 

Saunders was charged with second-degree breach of peace and sixth-degree larceny on March 28, police said. 

He was released on a promise to appear in court on April 25.
