Bridgeport Police responded to the incident around 10:30 p.m. Friday, March 22, after receiving a 911 from a woman who came across the two people on Boston Avenue and Dover Street, said the Bridgeport Police.
The man told the bypasser that he had been stabbed by the woman, said Terron Jones, with the Bridgeport Police.
The Bridgeport Police responded immediately to the area and began canvassing it based on the provided description from the caller.
A few minutes later they were able to find both people on Sheridan Street. Upon assessing the situation, it was determined that the male party was in fact stabbed in the abdomen at another location by a man and not the woman.
The victim was transported to Bridgeport Hospital by AMR with non-life-threatening injuries along with the female party for intoxication.
The Bridgeport Police Department is still actively investigating this incident.
