Halloween Night Bridgeport Shooting Victim Dies

A 28-year-old man has died after being shot six times on Halloween in an incident that also left a local mother of two dead.

David Belle of Bridgeport died at St. Vincent’s Medical Center Tuesday night following numerous surgeries, said Av Harris, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department.

The attack took place around 11 p.m. in front of 848 Maplewood Ave., also killing 41-year-old Myoshi Bagley, police said.

Belle's murder is the eighth in the city this year. Last year there were 23 homicides in the city.
