Bridgeport Police Seek Public's Help In Hit-And-Run

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Bridgeport police are seeking the public's help in finding a car that struck a 58-year-old man in a hit-and-run incident Saturday evening.

At around 5:45 p.m. a pedestrian, identified as 58-year-old Michael Kravitz of Greenwich, was crossing the intersection at Park and Maplewood Avenues when he was struck by a small white car, according to police. The small white car fled north on Park Avenue, police said.

Kravitz was taken to Saint Vincent's Hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said. At this time, police said Kravitz is in critical but stable condition.
