Bridgeport Police Release Video Of September Shooting Death Of 17-Year-Old

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – The Bridgeport Police Department released a video Thursday of a September homicide and asked for the public's help in identifying the three suspects.

The second suspect is shown running toward the area where the victim was shot. The site is near the corner of Madison Avenue and Frank Street in Bridgeport.

The victim is shown in the video walking to the back of a house near the corner of Madison Avenue and Frank Street when three suspects run up and fire shots at him. The shooting occurred at about 8:25 p.m. Sept. 29 at 245-247 Madison Ave., the video shows.

The three shooters are then seen fleeing the scene of the crime, police said.

When officers responded to 911 calls of a shooting, they found a 17-year-old black male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital by ambulance, where he was pronounced dead and the incident was confirmed as a homicide.

Police officers and detectives are actively investigating several leads. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Bridgeport Detective Curet (203) 581-5236.

This was the 13th of 15 homicides so far in 2015 in Bridgeport.
