Bridgeport Police Identify Murder Suspect, Seek Help In Finding Him

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- The Bridgeport Police Department's Detective Bureau is looking for a suspect in connection with the Dec. 15 shooting death of a city man.

Richard Lopez, 25, is wanted for the murder of a 33-year-old Bridgeport resident on Dec. 15.

A murder arrest warrant has been issued for 25-year-old Richard Lopez. Police are asking anyone who has information on the whereabouts of Lopez to call the Bridgeport Police Department Tips Line at 203-576-TIPS (8477).

Noel Esbri, 33, had been shot once when he arrived at the home of a friend at 360 Palisade Ave. at 6:45 p.m. Dec. 15, police said.
