BRIDGEPORT, CONN. – A Stratford woman is facing charges after police accused her of stabbing the man she said had stolen her car, according to a report by The Connecticut Post.
Tierra Crawford, 27, was arrested Thursday after 43-year-old Shawn Cunningham of Milford was found bleeding on a Bridgeport street, The Connecticut Post reported.
Crawford told police that she was driving around looking for her car -- taken earlier in Stratford -- when she spotted it on Barnum Avenue and confronted the alleged thief after he pulled into a gas station, The Connecticut Post story said.
Crawford was charged with first-degree assault and released on $5,000 bail while Cunningham faces a third-degree larceny rap, The Connecticut Post reported.
