Police had been pursuing a BMW they believed was involved in a shooting when a teenage suspect hopped out of the car and ran into an apartment at the Greene Homes, the Post said.
Officers found a half-dozen suspected gang members there, arresting Jarod “J-Rod” Hamilton, 18, on charges of interfering with police and criminal trespass and Christopher Gorham, 36, who was charged with criminal possession of ammunition, police told the Post.
Officers also seized two .40-caliber handguns, a .38-caliber handgun and a .22-caliber handgun along with a large number of bullets, the Connecticut Post said.
Hamilton is the brother of Jamal “Moo Moo” Hamilton, who was found not guilty in a 2015 shooting that killed one man and wounded eight. He is serving 13 years in prison for selling heroin.
