Lydia Struble, 51, a Stratford resident who teaches at Thomas Hooker Elementary School, was charged with third-degree assault, the Post said.
The alleged incident from Feb. 4 involved a 13-year-old special education student at the K-8 school, the Post reported.
Struble has denied manhandling the girl, who was taken to Bridgeport Hospital with scratches and bruising, the Post story said.
