Billy Ray "BJ" Williams was arrested in 2015 and charged with murder in connection with the June 21, 2010 homicide of Michael Williams. Williams was shot to death at the age of 29 in the playground area behind Building 4 of the Greene Homes in Bridgeport, according to police.
Williams was found guilty of the crime by a jury and given a severe sentence due to his lengthy criminal history, according to the Connecticut Post. During the course of the trial, prosecutors produced a witness who saw the shooting and another who testified to seeing Williams walking away from the scene, the Connecticut Post reported.
