Brandon Williams, 37, also known as "14K" was sentenced in Hartford on Thursday to 74 months of imprisonment followed by four years of supervised release. Williams has been detained since his arrest on related state charges on Aug. 26, 2015.

According to court documents, Williams caused a minor female, who he knew was under the age of 18, to engage in commercial sex acts in July and August 2015. The girl's sexual services were advertised on the websites Backpage and Cityvibe, and Williams rented hotel rooms in which he and the minor victim stayed, Daly said.

Williams pleaded guilty on March 3, 2017 to one count of sex trafficking of a minor. In addition to his prison time, he has also been ordered to pay $1,980 in restitution to the victim.
