original story: BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — Bridgeport Hospital was placed on lockdown Friday after someone made verbal threats, according to the Connecticut Post.
The nature of the threats were not made public as of 4 p.m., but the hospital was placed on lockdown as a precaution, the Connecticut Post reported. Bridgeport Police were on the scene to assist hospital security, a city spokesperson told the Connecticut Post.
