BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- An Ansonia man pleaded guilty to killing a man in heroin deal gone wrong in Bridgeport back in 2015, according to the Connecticut Post.

Mohamad Rahim, 26, pleaded guilty on Wednesday to the Sept. 27, 2015 killing of Duhaney Watson in Bridgeport, according to the Connecticut Post. He is due to be sentenced on Dec. 15, and could face up to 34 years in prison, the Connecticut Post reported.

Rahim was arrested about a month after the killing, along with Jeremy Bratz of Stratford. Police said at the time that Rahim and Bratz had approached Watson at a gas station near the intersection of Main Street and North Avenue to buy heroin, and after Watson got in their car Rahim pulled a gun on him.

Rahim demanded drugs from Watson, and a struggled ensued that led to Rahim shooting Waston in the face, according to police. Rahim and Bratz took $700 worth of heroin and fled, and Watson was dead when police arrived on the scene, according to police.
